The RV-Elite Series (Motorized) Rotary Evaporator is a high-efficiency separation and concentration device widely used in chemistry, biology, pharmaceuticals, and related fields. Its core function is to gently remove solvents from solutions via the principle of reduced-pressure distillation. The system mainly consists of a rotary flask, heating bath, condenser, vacuum system, and receiving flask. The rotary flask is driven by a motor to rotate at a constant speed, forming a uniform liquid film on the inner wall, thereby increasing the evaporation area. The heating bath (water or oil) provides a controllable heat source, while the vacuum system reduces the system pressure to lower the boiling point of the solvent. The condenser liquefies the evaporated solvent vapor using a cooling medium, and the liquid is collected in the receiving flask. Unlike conventional manual operation, this series features an integrated design with motorized lifting and motorized rotation, offering easier operation and more precise control. The overall design balances operational convenience with sample protection, making it particularly suitable for handling heat-sensitive substances, achieving rapid solvent evaporation and separation without exposing the sample to damaging high-temperatures.
Features
Smart integrated control head
Equipped with a large LCD screen for real-time display of rotation speed, timing, and rotation direction. The touch panel supports stepless speed regulation from 20 to 280rpm. The main unit is driven by a brushless motor for quiet, stable operation and a service life more than three times longer.
Multiple safety protections
Double protection with a fuse-based over-temperature cutoff and automatic power-off. In case of abnormal power failure, the evaporating flask automatically lifts 150mm away from the heat source. The heating bath is equipped with anti-scald handles and an interlocking power-off protection, which immediately cuts off the heat source under emergency conditions and provides physical isolation, eliminating the risk of burns and ensuring a safe and controllable experiment.
Efficient composite heating and corrosion-resistant structure
The bath is made of stainless steel with a Teflon coating, combined with fully enclosed heating technology, providing both corrosion resistance and thermal efficiency. A PID temperature control module precisely maintains the set temperature, meeting the demands of long-term high-temperature and high-pressure experiments.
Modular condenser and feeding design
Vertical double-layer serpentine condenser (1700cm² large condensation area) with a valve-type continuous feeding system, supporting seamless connection of PTFE tubing to enhance experimental continuity.
Corrosion-resistant high-borosilicate glass components
All glass parts are made of GG-17 high-borosilicate glass, resistant to high temperatures and strong corrosive environments, ensuring long-term reliability.
Long-lasting sealing solution
Double-layer modified Teflon sealing rings combined with a spring-loaded dynamic compensation structure provide excellent sealing performance under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, extending equipment service life and making it suitable for demanding applications such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
Human-machine interaction-optimized design
The evaporating flask is equipped with a quick-release mechanism, together with touch-controlled lifting and an anti-scald structure, greatly improving the ease of assembly/disassembly and operating comfort.
Intelligent bidirectional dynamic evaporation
One-key switching of forward/reverse rotation, supporting timed automatic alternating operation. This reduces wall-adhering residue of the sample, improves evaporation uniformity—especially suitable for powder samples—ensures experimental repeatability and stability, and overcomes the limitations of conventional unidirectional rotation.
