LYO-4 Series

The LYO 4 series vertical freeze dryer adopts vacuum freeze-drying technology (also known as sublimation drying). It pre-freezes the water-containing material and then sublimates the moisture under vacuum. The freeze-dried product retains its original biological and chemical properties, is easy to store for long periods, and can be restored to its pre-freeze-dried state by adding water while maintaining its original biochemical characteristics. Therefore, freeze dryers are widely used in medicine, food, chemicals, biological products, and other fields.

Features

Secop compressor – rapid cooling, low cold trap temperature, long service life, low noise, high efficiency, and energy saving.

Refrigeration adopts world-leading LINDEHAMPSON technology with a return cooler (secondary cooling via return cold), providing high refrigeration efficiency.

Environmentally friendly refrigerant (absolutely no banned refrigerants)—green, with large cooling capacity.

The instrument is supplied with a vacuum pump as standard; the connection between the vacuum pump and the main unit uses an international standard KF quick connector, compatible with various vacuum pumps.

Vacuum pressure display units are freely switchable, supporting mbar, Pa, and Torr.

The electric heating defrost function helps the cold trap heat and defrost after the freeze-drying experiment.

Standard nitrogen charging valve – can be filled with nitrogen or inert gas for instrument protection after drying.
